Wrapping paper

Hi all. This Monday’s challenge @ 365 cards got me mused for a while. I couldn’t get any idea nor a picture for a while. I kept going through all my gift wraps on and on when I suddenly stopped at one. Oo-la and I made this card.

You must have guessed what the challenge is about already. Yes, It’s a wrap, where you are required to use a wrapping  paper as a background for your card. Fun! Isn’t it? Showcase your wrapping creations here. Below is the wrapping paper that I have used on the card next to it.

Hope you liked the card. Your opinion about the card matters. Thanks for peeking in.post signature

Spring Home Decor

Hi all. I am so excited to share my latest creation with you guys. I found this white cage wall decor at a store and a spontaneous idea struck my mind. (You could purchase the same here)

I purchased those lovely birds and dragon flies, created a few paper flowers (distress ink was definitely helpful here), and used a few store bought leaf decors and left over floral accents.

I assembled them all for a really long time, hardly using any adhesives. I weaved the leaves and other embellishments through the frame of the cage. Ta-da! This beautiful cage resulted.

How do you like it guys?

A card for my Nephew.

I visited my cousin’s place (Texas) this weekend. I had to make a card for little darling Pranav. He is a lovely boy with great love for cars (all boys do 🙂), which is why I decorated the card with cars. Every car is hand drawn and colored.

I wanted the card to look all boy-ish, which is why I have chosen a navy green card base and avoided pink in any form 😉

Here is the inside of the card. I wrote a note for him and placed his caricatures, that I sketched, into the pocket shown.

I have also submitted this card for the 365 days card challenge here. This was the card that struck my mind as soon as I read the challenge.

My nephew- Abhi

I only have this 2 X 2″ photo of my nephew Abhiram. This little darling was safe in my wallet and that’s how I have it with me here. I couldn’t stop myself from making this little photo holder.

Abhi looks too innocent in this picture though he isn’t really as innocent.
I miss you Abhi.

The gift card for Vidhu

I made this gift card for my nephew Vidhathru. He is a naughty bag. always pulls things down and makes a mess out of the house. He always keeps people around him alert as you never know when he will bless you with a punch or gift you a kick. So I thought this hunter picture should best describe him.

Thank god we saved this card from him before he didn’t tear it into pieces.
